You'll find a relaxed atmosphere at Capocaccia from noon to midnight. The weekly high point: the Thursday Aperitivo Milanese at 6 p.m. It boasts a DJ along with a large buffet offering mini-focaccias, stuffed olives, prosciutto di Parma, pecorino al tartufo cheese, mozzarella di bufala and pasta salads. On Tuesdays, Wine Night offers a tasting of selected regional wines. Refined tastes and relaxed encounters are the order of the day. Geneva: a new big step, this time north of the Alps, in a splendid location in the heart of the city.

Geneva represented perhaps Capocaccia’s biggest challenge, in that its genuinely cosmopolitan and multiracial population is situated in a country—Switzerland— of deep roots and traditions. This was an arrival point as well as a new departure for Capocaccia.
